About This Event
The Capital Business Development Association (CBDA) will hold its Inaugural Golf Tournament Fall Fundraising Event on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Army Navy Country Club located at 3315 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030. The net proceeds from this event will go to the CBDA Cybersecurity Scholarship Program and to cover CBDA operational expenses. CBDA is a Virginia registered federally tax-exempt non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).
Our goal for this tournament is to raise funds to augment the funding of 100% CBDA scholarships being offered through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HCBUs) and veterans seeking work in the field of Cyber Defense. We are working with Fusion Cyber, our cybersecurity training vendor, and partnering with leading HBCUs to provide 40 and 48-week online/hybrid boot camps taught by practitioners. Many HCBUs integrate our curriculum into existing undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Our cybersecurity boot camp series creates enterprise risk management professionals who can rapidly advance their cybersecurity careers by combining various certifications that validate their experience and cybersecurity knowledge to employers. Students make their way through the FCRMP – Fusion Zero Trust Risk Management Professional Boot Camps (a performance-based cloud security bootcamp certification) and CBDA funds student testing and preparation for the CISSP, CAP and CEH certifications. All donations are tax deductible.

• Silver Sponsor: $2,500.00 donation. We will place a signage at breakfast and at a tee box, provide verbal recognition during dinner, and your company will receive recognition in the event program and on the CBDA website and LinkedIn page. Complimentary 2-Players Green Fees are included.
• Cart Sponsor: $2,500.00 donation. We will place special signage on the cart, your company will receive recognition in the event program and on the CBDA website and LinkedIn page.
• Closest to Pin Sponsor: $1,000.00 donation. We will place special signage at a tee box of a Par 3-hole and provide verbal recognition during dinner. Your company will receive recognition in the event program and on the CBDA website and LinkedIn page.
• Longest Drive Sponsor: $1,000.00 donation. We will place special signage at the tee box of the longest drive hole, your company will receive recognition in the event program and on the CBDA website and LinkedIn page.
