Cherylyn Harley LeBon has 25 years of experience working at the intersection of business and government.
She is currently a Partner with Womble Bond Dickinson in the Government Contracts and Corporate practice areas. Cherylyn works with small-sized to large-sized businesses and government contractors across the country and worldwide. She helps companies navigate the government contracting process by leveraging her experience as a former Presidential appointee at the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). For several years, Cherylyn was a Senior Counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and she started her career in Washington, D.C. as Counsel to a Member in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Cherylyn’s international expertise includes several years in Europe, where she served as a finance and telecommunications advisor to the German Bundestag (Congress) and as an international transaction specialist with the Mannesmann Corporation, where she structured and negotiated financial transactions in Eastern Europe and Asia.
In addition to serving as a strong advocate for minority-owned and women-owned businesses, she is a national board member of SCORE, which supports small businesses and entrepreneurs nationwide.
